Actiflow has developed a suction system for Ferrari to improve the aerodynamics of a sports car. By applying the same suction technique for wind turbines, the weight and the costs of the blades can be reduced by 15%. The suction is naturally created by the centrifugal effect inside the blade and through a special tip opening.
