As climate has a huge impact on our industry, our lives and our planet in general our focus is on CleanTech startups. The clean tech landscape is changing extremely fast. Costs of solar modules are down 20% every year, one cent per kWh leveled cost of electricity is within reach in the solar sector this year, or in 2019! Besides solar & wind, CleanTech includes biomass, EVs, and for example recycling. In the essence clean tech is about increasing productivity, while decreasing cost, energy use, pollution and general impact on the environment.
Operating as a startup within this industry can be very challenging. Profits are under pressure, costs need to go down constantly and growth is a must to keep up with the trend. With corporate partners as Eneco and Shell, YES!Delft is perfectly suited to find launching customers for your products & services, and with international partners like Climate KIC and KIC InnoEnergy, YES!Delft is also able to go across borders. Furthermore, we have a close collaboration with Greenvillage (TU Delft) and the Sustainable Energy Technology master at TU Delft.
