After studying physics in Delft and a short career at Shell, Ian was a management consultant and senior partner at BCG for nearly 20 years. In this capacity he worked with many clients on commercial challenges including revenue and pricing models, segmentation and go to market strategies. With this experience he has been a  mentor and advisor to start-ups in AI/Blockchain and clean tech since early 2019. Currently Ian also has an  operational responsibility as a COO/CFO for Oceans of Energy, a scale-up in off-shore solar energy.
