Within the Metropolitan Startup Lab (MSL), the ‘Metropoolregio Den Haag Rotterdam’ collaborates with YES!Delft to support innovative solutions on their road to success.
Fieldlabs – the regional opportunity to innovate
An important player in the field of innovation within the ‘Metropoolregio’ are the Fieldlabs. These are existing locations in the region with a focus on innovation. Here, new innovative ideas come to exist. As a leading tech incubator, YES!Delft offers her activities, network expertise and startup programs to accelerate innovation.
1. Inspiration sessions
Presentation & mini pitchtraining at the Fieldlabs and other relevant locations in the region to stimulate cross-over collaborations.
2. Discovery Tracks
2 x 0,5 day workshop over a period of 1 month to find your inner entrepreneur, meet your co-founder & get a taste of the YES!Delft community. During the Discovery Track you get a flavour of entrepreneurship, you meet like-minded people and eventually prepare to apply for Validation Lab. Progress: 4 hr crash course on customer discovery – 30 days for individual customer discovery – 4 hr crash course on value proposition design. Teams will be formed during the workshop if you don’t have a partner.
3. Validation Lab
3-month pressure cooker, 1 day per week to enable early stage startups to validate their business idea and find their product/market fit. Find your market/product fit. We use methods from Steve Blank’s Lean Launchpad and Alexander Osterwalder’s Value Proposition Design. You will test the correctness of your assumptions by talking to as many potential customers as possible. Validation Lab is the way to prepare for our acceleration program. Receive input and feedback from fellow participants, experienced trainers and personal mentors. Your result will be a market/product fit, a validated customer segment and a value proposition design that responds to the actual needs of your customer.
