Introduction
aQysta has developed a hydropowered irrigation pump which is propelled solely by the water flow of rivers or irrigation canals. The Barsha pump does not require any fuel or electricity and virtually no maintenance. Both aspects result in major cost savings for the end user. After 2 years of developing and testing aQysta has launched its first commercial product in the beginning of 2016. Since then, dozens of units have been installed across Nepal, Turkey, Indonesia, Zambia and Spain and many more have been sold.
