Lacquey develops robotic hands with two human characteristics: One, they can handle a broad variety of shapes and sizes and two, they delicately handle fragile products. Our robotic hands are an excellent alternative solution to repetitive and expensive human labor in various applications in (greenhouse) agriculture, such as bell pepper, apple, tomato, Belgian endive and eggplant. Besides, we also focus on handling other vulnerable products like biscuits, and on handling packages that contain vulnerable products, like tomato boxes. We are capable of developing custom made robot graspers, all the way from drawing board to fully tested and production ready product. The patented technology is based on high-tech research at Delft University of Technology. For system integration and production we collaborate with a network of partners.
