The New Year 2020 is around the corner and our tech incubator is preparing for a short Christmas break. But before we pack our bags, there are some last success stories to share. Multiple startups received new fundings and secured new partnerships. Further, our tech startups are growing by manufacturing their technology and expanding their product line. The Blockchain startup presented their solution at the TNW in Amsterdam, which was organized in cooperation with the Financial Times. A total of 8 startups were selected to present their pitch at the Hard Fork Pitch Battle in front of a selected jury of journalists, investors, advisors, and corporate inventors. Circularise came out as a winner!

Multiple startups, from our incubator, have successfully secured investments and received funding before the end of the year. After the winter break, they can kick start into the new year. Find out about the startups:
Sense Glove, the startup behind the haptic glove, received undisclosed funding from Forward.one and Value Creation Capital. Now, they can accelerate their glove and are ready for international sales. Recently, they launched the second version of their haptic glove that provided tactile- and force feedback as well as accurate motion-tracking.
Nowi received $10m in a Series A round of funding from Distributive Technology Ventures, which made them reach a total of $14m in funding! They can now kick start in the first half of 2020 and commercialize their energy harvesting chip business globally.
Dutch Analytics successfully raised €2m of investments led by Global Founders Capital and BAM. This investment makes it possible to continue developing their platform Xenia, which helps companies to bring their AI algorithm into operation and monitor the life cycle.
The community of Efoetsy in Madagascar can now enjoy 15,000 liters of water every day thanks to their solar desalination system. The community can now enjoy safe and sustainable drinking water. The CleanTech startup is manufacturing 58 Power Windows, in cooperation with their partners AGC and Pilkington, for multiple projects. This will help them scale up and further grow their impact on the market. In addition, the new residential tower BOLD, in Amsterdam Noord, will integrate Physee’s SmartSkin technology for a sustainable future. The tower will open its doors in 2021.
Delft Circuits is selected for the Accelerator pilot led by the European Innovation Council. They will receive financial support, coaching, networking and business advice to accelerate further development of their quantum computing by delivering scalable cryogenic.
This accelerator alumnus secured a new partnership with Mediworld with the aim to improve the safety of mobility scooters. In the next five years, Mediworld is opening more than 100 stores in the Netherlands, where everyone would be able to see and test Scoozy themselves. The Scoozy design includes a four-wheel drive, an intelligent steering, and an active braking system to offer a lifestyle without any limitations.

In an interview with RTL, the virtual reality game Reanimatie Training was shown to be successful in providing medical students with a realistic simulation of emergency events. Warp VR designed the game to give students an immersive training experience and the benefit of the emotional reaction the game can evoke to further develop medical student’s skills.
No direct flight to your destination? No problem, Fly Aeolus recently added 3 new aircraft to their fleet. Their air taxi service provides flights across Europe to 1200 small and regional airports. These new additions will be based in Hamburg, Essen and Kulmbach and will provide more travel opportunities with lower costs.
Secured a new partnership! Together with Maxon Benelux the startup will develop a new generation of their innovation haptic ship control. In addition, Smart-Ship was featured in the newest edition of Ship Building Industry (Vol 13, Issue 5). The article highlights their Smart-Ship technology, current projects and their partnership with Bachmann Electronics GmbH.
The Demo event, at the Erasmus MC, gave students the opportunity to interact with BI/OND customizable Organ-on-chip. Moreover, they have been named one of Hello Tomorrow Deep Tech Pioneer selected out of 5000 startups from 126 countries. Their product gives biologists the opportunity to overcome the limitation for standard in vitro assays.
